Oscar's Fresh Mex
A bright, hand-lettered redesign for a family-owned Mexican restaurant group: tacos falling onto a plate in the hero, a clear Order Now button and a map of 17 kitchens in four states.

What the businesswas up against.
A restaurant group with seventeen kitchens can easily look like a franchise. Oscar's is a family business that says so, and the site needed to carry that warmth to every location while still getting a hungry visitor to the menu or the Order Now button in one tap.
A warm cream ground, a deep taco-brown for type and one hot red, taken from the brand’s own lettering. A heavy rounded headline face like a painted storefront, a hand-brush face for asides and a friendly sans for everything someone has to read before ordering.
Warm, direct and proud of the family. Short lines, real food words and an order button that never hides.
Cream, taco brown and one hot red — the same red as the logo and the word family in the headline.
Titan One for the headline, Caveat Brush for the hand-written asides, Figtree for the menu and the small print.

Titan One gives the headline the weight of a painted storefront, Caveat Brush adds the hand-written asides, and Figtree keeps the menu, the locations and the small print easy to read.
Tacos runin the family.
The homepage opens on tacos, lime and peppers falling onto a plate, with the family headline and an Order Now button always in reach. Below: what is made fresh every morning, a four-tacos-and-a-drink street taco deal, three generations behind the grill, salsas spooned over the tacos by hand, a map of 17 kitchens across four states and a Join the family page for careers.

The same hero rebuilt for a thumb: the logo and Order Now sit at the top, the headline stays big and the two main actions — Order online and See the menu — become full-width buttons.
One business,one voice, everywhere.
A restaurant site that sounds like the family behind it, and gets a hungry visitor from the first taco to the order button without a detour.
