What the businesswas up against.
Home-improvement work is easy to promise and hard to picture. AEDES runs ten trades under one crew — painting, kitchens, flooring, roofing and more — and needed a site that shows the finished work and makes the next step a single call or form.
A parchment ground, ink type and one deep wine, the colours of a plastered wall and a signed estimate. A classical capital face for the promises, a warm serif italic for the asides and a plain sans for everything that has to be read quickly.
Calm and exact. The site says what the crew will do, in what order, and gives a written price before work starts.
Parchment, ink and a single wine red, echoing the company's own wordmark, so nothing competes with the photographs of finished work.
Cinzel capitals for headlines, Cormorant Garamond italic for asides, Jost for reading.

Cinzel in capitals carries the headlines, Cormorant Garamond italic the quiet asides, and Jost the text people actually read — a carved-stone voice that still works on a phone.
Touch the artof building.
A film hero opens on two reaching hands and the promise Touch the art of building. Below it: real before-and-after photographs with a draggable line, ten trades set out one by one, a four-step process from the first call to the final walk-through, homeowner reviews, and a one-minute estimate form — with the phone number never more than a tap away.

The same film hero, rebuilt for a thumb: the navigation folds into a menu button and the phone number becomes a one-tap call button.
One business,one voice, everywhere.
A live site at aedes-construction.com that puts the finished work, the full list of trades and a single next step in front of every visitor.
