A gelato shop whose mascot is the interface: a pink octopus who recolours the whole page to the flavour you tap — eight flavours, never nine.

What the businesswas up against.
Every gelato shop has a flavour list and a sunny photograph. Purpo Gelato wanted people to remember a character, not a menu — and a site that makes choosing between eight flavours feel like a game rather than a table.
One octopus, eight arms, eight flavours — and a rule that the page takes the colour of whichever arm you touch. A warm paper ground, deep plum ink and a crimson that appears only when the flavour calls for it, with giant italic names across the bottom of the screen like a shopfront sign.
Warm, silly and exact about the one thing that matters: eight flavours and never nine.
The page is repainted for each flavour — strawberry pink, pistachio green, a sky blue called Cielo — with plum ink on top.
Tap an arm and the octopus, the cup and the whole page change colour together.

Britney, a high-contrast italic serif, gives each flavour name the weight of a shop sign; Amulya, a clean humanist sans, carries the reading text so the jokes land quickly.
Eight arms. Eight flavors.Never nine.
The homepage opens on the pink octopus, a cup of strawberry gelato and a flavour name the width of the screen. Numbered arms jump between the eight flavours, each with its own colour and a one-line character note. Below: how the gelato is churned every morning, a hide-and-seek game called Tana!, an honest receipt, tubs to spin and lids to collect, and a way to find a counter.

The same octopus and flavour name rebuilt for a thumb: the eight arms become numbered buttons under the cup, and the colour change fills the whole screen.
One business,one voice, everywhere.
A gelato brand people can describe in one sentence — the octopus with eight arms — and a site that turns choosing a flavour into the first taste of the shop.
